The city of East Hartford has intervened in the case of dozens of apartment tenants who have gone without heat since the start of the week.
The city has relocated the tenants to hotels after determining that it was not safe for them to stay in their apartments.
In total, residents of more than 60 units of The Chapman Apartments have not had heat since Sunday.
The tenants were moved to hotels after a deadline was mixed for restoring the heat.
