Connecticut State Police say a Farmington man who crashed Tuesday on the side of I-84 in New Britain was killed.
Troopers responded to the crash around 1:30 p.m. in the area of Exit 36 on I-84 Westbound.
A 1995 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 was found in the wooded area on the left side of the highway. It had gone through a support post for Exit 36.
Abbott Schultz, Junior, 85, was found seriously injured in the overturned Camaro. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
