FARMINGTON, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Farmington Police arrest a 14-year-old high school student who allegedly brought a gun to school.
Police say Farmington High School learned of a student who brought a gun to school on Friday, December 3, 2021, after administrators notified parents of an alleged, non-credible threat in Mid-November. The school learned about the incident on Tuesday, December 7, 2021.
Following an investigation, a 14-year-old who allegedly brought the gun onto school grounds was charged with illegal possession of a weapon on school grounds, carrying a pistol without a permit, illegal possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, and risk of injury to a minor.
The gun has not been recovered and the youth is currently being held in a State Juvenile Detention Center.
