Groton, Conn./WTIC Radio - A fire at an apartment complex in Groton early Sunday morning drove dozens of people from their homes.
The call went out to The Ledges on Ledgewood Road around 3:00 a.m.
The three-alarm blaze consumed multiple floors with fire and heavy fire in the attic.
Crews from multiple departments including Groton City, Old Mystic, the Sub Base, New London, Waterford, Old Saybrook and others were brought in to fight the fire.
There was also a partial roof collapse.
There's no word yet on a cause of the fire.
