Five arrested after crash in Tolland

TOLLAND, Ct. (WTIC Radio) -- State Police arrested five people following a crash near the town green in the area of Torry Road and Tolland Stage Road Saturday.
Tolland Police were dispatched to the scene on reports of a car striking a tree or another vehicle.
The suspects then fled on foot as police pursued. All were later arrested. One of the suspects struck a state trooper intentionally with their vehicle. There is no word on the extent of his injuries. The suspects names have not been released and no word was given as what led to the chase and impending arrest. An investigation is ongoing.
