HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Hartford Mayor Aunan Arulampalam will join the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving to announce a historic arts investment in the capital region.
Over the next two years, the Foundation will lead a comprehensive initiative designed to launch the next century of creativity.
The celebration starts at 12 p.m. Wednesday with a variety of local artists, including spoken word artist Versatile, vocalist Ysanne, dancers from the New England Ballet, and a string quartet from Hartford Symphony Orchestra.
