HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Hartford Police arrest a city man in connection with an investigation into child sex abuse materials.
The Child Exploitation Prevention Unit within the Hartford Police Department began an investigation into Efrein Rivera, 29, of Hartford, over his alleged involvement in the possession and distribution of child sexual abuse materials.
During a search done on Rivera's apartment on Wilson Street, police say they seized various electronic devices that were processed and found to have contained multiple images of child pornography.
Rivera is being charged with first-degree possession of child pornography.
He is being held on a $25,000 bond.
