Hartford Police are investigating a shooting that injured a man in the pre-dawn hours on the July Fourth holiday.
Police say the man, described in his 30s, was found shot in the area of 351 Woodland Street when they responded to the report of a person shot.
The man was alert and conscious when he was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
There's no word of a suspect.
