HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - An officer-involved shooting in Hartford is under investigation.
In an update Saturday morning, city police say an officer-involved shooting happened in the area of the 470 block of Wethersfield Avenue around 12:13 a.m.
Police say no one was struck by gunfire.
There's no word on why officers discharged their weapon or what led up to the incident.
The State Office of the Inspector General is taking over the investigation, which is protocol whenever a police officer uses force in Connecticut.
