HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Speeders beware. Hartford police are launching a stepped-up traffic enforcement campaign targeting speeders.
The effort begins Monday and runs through Labor Day weekend.
Some of the areas that will get special attention are Granby St., Newington Ave. and Bloomfield Ave.
Officials say one of the goals is to protect pedestrians during the summer months.
The effort is funded by a grant from the Department of Transportation.
