HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - The City of Hartford is putting a parking ban into effect during Friday night's snow storm.
The parking ban will begin at 6 p.m. Friday and continue through 9 a.m. Saturday.
“We're expecting more than 6 inches of snow beginning Friday evening and continuing into Saturday morning,” said Mayor Arulampalam. “Our Public Works team is standing by to keep our roads clear and safe during the snowstorm, but we need your help to make our snow cleaning operation as easy as possible. Please get your cars into your driveway, or to a Blue Light lot, City lot, or school lot, and for your own safety, please stay off the streets as much as you can.”
During a snow parking ban, all on-street parking is prohibited throughout the City of Hartford. Any vehicles not removed from City streets by the start of the parking ban will be ticketed and towed.
