HARTFORD, CONN.(WTIC Radio)-Officials are hoping for a large turnout in early June as the Hartford Taste Festival features 30 restaurants and as many musical acts, bringing a vast range of cultures to Constitution Plaza.
This is the second year for the event that runs June 9th and 10th.
Shipman and Goodwin hosted the announcement on its deck overlooking the Plaza.
Managing Partner Leander Dolphin said the event will benefit the restaurants and Connecticut Food Share, assisting those struggling with food insecurity.
Hartford Mayor Luke Bronin said the event is a great way to kick-start the many events scheduled in Hartford throughout the summer.
The Hartford covered the vendor fees, allowing restaurants to participate for free.
