HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Hartford's Town and City Clerk has died a month after he was involved in a hit-and-run accident in Colchester.
Noel McGregor was on the side of Route 2 when a vehicle struck him and fled the scene.
Investigators believe the suspect’s vehicle is a blue Jeep Cherokee between the model years of 2015 and 2023.
The Jeep would have a damaged right side mirror and right side door handle.
City Mayor Arunan Arulampalm and City Council President Shirley Surgeon released the following statement concerning the accident and his death:
