Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - Hartford police are announcing arrests in two homicide investigations.
One occurred earlier this month.
It was May 4th that officers were called to a home on Hendricxsen Avenue.
That's where they found Lavante Brown of Hartford and Aydin Davis of Bloomfield in a building stairwell unresponsive.
Both died from gunshot wounds.
Now, 25-year-old James Chaney of Plainville is charged with murder and reckless endangerment.
The second case dates back to last year.
On August 14th, 2023, Angel Martinez of Hartford was found shot in the area of Granby Street and Tower Avenue.
Twenty-eight-year-old Brian Jones of Hartford faces charges of murder and criminal possession of a firearm.
