ENFIELD, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ Enfield Police helped an owl that had been hit by a car.
The department says it responded to a call that a car struck an owl.
Police say the bird was lying by the side of the road. An officer was able to pet it and help the disoriented bird stand on its feet. Moments later, it flew away.
In a Facebook post, the department says it is happy to start 2021 with "a feel good story."
