
CROMWELL, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Police from Cromwell and its surrounding communities responded to reports of an armed man at the Quality Inn hotel on Berlin Road.
State Police responded to the report around 6:25 p.m. Saturday night. Officials said no one was found after a search of the building nor were there any shots fired. One person was taken to the hospital for treatment of an unrelated injury, according to police.
The hotel was placed in lock down mode as police continued to investigate. It was lifted late Saturday night and guests were allowed to return to their rooms.
