NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Immigration and Customs Enforcement out of Boston says it's detained a Jamaican fugitive who had been convicted in Connecticut.
ICE announces it has turned Leroy Neville White, 30, over to authorities in Jamaica, where he faces charges in connection with a shooting.
The State of Connecticut Department of Corrections honored the ICE detainer Dec. 26, 2024.
Officers from ICE arrested White in a custodial setting at Hartford Correctional Center upon completion of his five-year state sentence, which was suspended after just under a year.
