Officer Brian Altamirano is seen approaching the suspect vehicle, a white Infinity with a man in the driver's seat.

A second officer, Daniel Guilfuchi arrives on the scene.

That's when the driver of the suspect vehicle crashes into Guilfuchi's cruiser, backs up and knocks a man and woman at the scene holding children to the ground.

The Infinity hits the cruiser again before taking off on Interstate 84.

The car was later found ditched in Hartford.
