Naugatuck, Conn./WTIC Radio - A Naugatuck police officer is under investigation stemming from a use of force incident earlier this month.
Police say during a robbery arrest on October 14th, the officer deployed their taser on the suspect a total of three times.
A review of the video by borough police administration brought concerns over the use of the taser, which were then forwarded to the Waterbury State's Attorney's office for further review.
The state's attorney has since turned the matter ovcr to Conneticut State Police to determine if criminal charges will be filed.
There were no injuries during the incident.
The State's Attorney's office is planning to release the video of the incident at some point, police said.
