GRISWOLD, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ Connecticut State Police are investigating a fatal crash in Griswold.
David Mack, 55, of Jewett City, was killed in the accident Sunday afternoon, shortly before 1 p.m.. He was driving a 1992 Mazda MX-5 Miata when the vehicle suddenly swerved into the opposite side of Route 201 (Hopeville Road) near Lestor Road.
A 17-year-old Massachusetts resident was taken to Backus Hospital for serious injuries.
The cause remains under investigation.
