Milford, Conn./WTIC Radio - A Milford Superior Court judge on Monday heard arguments about whether or not to retry a now 20-year-old man in a fatal stabbing four years ago.
Raul Valle has said he acted in self defense when a house party in Shelton degenerated into a wild brawl in May of 2022.

Three people were injured.
Valle was acquitted of murder but the jury couldn't decide on the lesser charge of reckless homicide.
McGrath's father Kevin said Valle's defense team has consistently put up roadblocks.
"All we've gone through over the last four years is delay," McGrath said. "We want the speedy trial."
Defense attorney Darnell Crosland said the charges should be dismissed and that the state never proved that Valle didn't act in self defense during trial last year.
The judge now has 90 days to render a decision.
