Shelton, Conn./WTIC Radio - Police in Shelton say a juvenile was injured during a street takeover early Sunday morning.
It was around 1:30 a.m. that officers and EMS were dispatched to the parking lot of 862 Bridgeport Avenue on a report of a person hit by a vehicle.
Several vehicles were fleeing the scene as officers arrived.
They say the boy was struck by someone driving recklessly.
He was transported to St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport for treatment of serious injuries.
