Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - There's good news for SNAP food assistance recipients in Connecticut.
Funds for November have been loaded on to the EBT cards of some 366,000 beneficiaries in the state.
Governor Lamont says nothing else needs to be done.
He says about 65% of the funding comes from the federal government with the state picking up the rest of the tab.
It remains to be seen what happens in December, however, if the government shutdown drags on.
