GLASTONBURY, Conn. (WTIC Radio)_ Glastonbury Public Schools have announced the plan to move to remote learning on snow days.

Citing success in the district's distance learning the last two months, Glastonbury Public Schools Superintendent Alan Bookman sent a letter about the plan to the school community.

On snow days, students and teachers will continue classes online.

In widespread power or internet outages, the schools will shift to the traditional snow day plan of having the day off, adding a make-up school day at the end of the year.
