New London, Conn./WTIC Radio - New London police are charging a man after they say he terrorized a group of juveniles Monday night while wielding a large buck knife and wearing a mask seen in the "Scream" movie franchise.
Officers were called to the area of Buchanan Road and Jefferson Avenue just before 8:00 p.m.
The caller reported a male, identified as Zakai Marshall, 19, of New London chasing kids while carrying the knife.
He later fled into Bates Woods.
Police later found Marshall in the area of the animal control office nearby, along with the mask and the knife.
He faces a host of charges including carrying a dangerous weapon and breach of peace.
