Vernon, Conn./WTIC Radio - Vernon police have charged a man in the death of a woman on Monday.
Just after noon, officers responoded to an apartment at 79 Brooklyn Street for a welfare check.
That's where the found 22-year-old Anastasia Paul.
Under arrest is 23-year-old Abdul Mboob of Manchester.
He faces a number of charges including murder, tampering with evidence, strangulation, interfering and risk of injury.
Bond was set at $5 million.
Police haven't yet released a cause of death.
