Southbury, Conn./WTIC Radio - Two juveniles were able to fight off a would-be attacker at a state park in Southbury this week.
The incident occurred Monday Kettletown State Park.
Police with the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection say Darius Moreno, 23, of Southbury, attempted to sexually assault the two potential victims while armed with a knife.
They fought him off with the assistance of other park patrons EnCon police said.
Moreno is being held on a raft of charges, including robbery, breach of peace, criminal attempt at sexual assault, threatening and strangulation.
Bond was set at $250,000.
