Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - State police have released the name of the man accused of breaking into a state office building over the weekend.
Troopers say Christian Gonzalez, 43, is from Shillinton, Pennslyvania.
Police were called to answer a security alarm at the building just after 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Gonzalez allegedly forced his way into a utlity area through a metal gate.
He was arrested almost immediately.
State and Hartford police did a sweep of the perimeter but found no other suspects.
They do say that Gonzalez did damage to various utilities that resulted in power outages and system failures within the state comptroller's office.
The building also housing the Attorney General's, Secretary of the State's, and Treasurer's offices is closed today.
As for Gonzalez, he faces a number of charges including burglary and criminal trespass.
Bond was set at $50,000.
