Farmington, Conn./WTIC Radio - There's been yet another wrong way crash on a Connecticut highway.

State police say this one happened in Farmington.

Troopers say early Sunday morning just before 3:30 they received a wrong way detection activation at the Interstate 84 eastbound ramp at exit 37.

They later spotted a vehicle driven by Luis Adrian Correa-Cabrera, 31, of Hartford.

Police say he wound up hitting a state police cruiser and continued on.

Correa-Cabrera was later stopped and told police he wasn't aware that he'd hit the police car.

Police say he admitted consuming alcohol.

On top of all that, troopers also say the car wasn't registered or insured, and that the license plate that was attached didn't belong to the vehicle.

Correa-Cabrera is being held on $100,000 bond facing numerous charges including reckless driving, evading, driving the wrong way, and operating without a license.
