East Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - One person is dead and another injured following an overnight shooting in East Hartford.
It was just before 2:00 this morning that officers were dispatched to Chapel Street on a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival, they located a vehicle with a male victim inside suffering from gunshot wounds.
That person was rushed to an area hospital and later pronounced dead.
A second victim, a female, was also located at the scene.
She was shot in the arm and treated for non life-threatening injuries.
