Stratford man faces interfering charges for Harwinton fire

HARWINTON, CONN.(WTIC Radio)-A Stratford man faces charges for interfering with the investigation of a structure fire Tuesday morning, State Police said.

Police responded to Wildcat Hill Road just after eight. While investigating police said Ronald Nelson, 25, of Stratford interfered with the investigation.
He was charged with Criminal Trespass and Interfering. He couldn't post a ten thousand dollar bond and was transferred to the New Haven Correctional Center.


State Police  and the Harwinton Fire Marshal are determining the cause of the  fire.

Nelson appears in Torrington Superior Court  today.
