BRANFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - The Branford Fire Department releases the name of the man found dead in a Monday afternoon apartment fire.
The man, identified as Richard Levchuk, 61, was found dead inside Unit 49 at 155 North Ivy Street.
Levchuk's body was found during a search of the residence, after the fire.
The Branford Fire Marshal, in collaboration with the Branford Police Department and the Connecticut State Police Fire and Explosion Investigation Unit, is actively investigating the cause of the fire.
