East Windsor, Conn./WTIC Radio - A man is dead after East Windsor police say he crashed his pickup truck and was thrown from the vehicle early Sunday morning.
Around 12:30 a.m., an officer on patrol came upon Jared Charette, 27, unconscious in the roadway on Rye Street.
A preliminary investigation suggests Charette was traveling north on Rye Street when he crossed the center line, struck a guardrail, hit a utility pole, and was thrown from the vehicle.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
