Vernon, Conn./WTIC Radio - The Newtown man accused of killing two people and kidnapping a woman during a spree and manhunt that lasted nearly a week almost four years ago has pled guilty to murder charges.
Twenty-six-year old Peter Manfredonia copped to the murder of Theodore Demers.
John Franco was wounded in that May 22, 2020 incident in Willington.
Manfredonia still faces charges in the killing of Nicholas Eisele in Derby and the kidnapping of his girlfriend two days later.
He then spent several days on the run before finally being spotted and arrested in Maryland.
Manfredonia faces 55 years in prison when he is sentenced in Rockville Superior Court April 23.
