New Haven, Conn./WTIC Radio - It's six years behind bars for a Bristol man for trafficking fentanyl and money laundering.

A New Haven judge on Tuesday handed down the sentence against Terry Collins, 31.

A number of law enforcement agencies including the DEA and local police in Waterbury initially zeroed in on Gawayne Fisher.

He, Collins and two associates were picked up in April of 2023.

Agents who raided a Yale Street location found drug processing equipment, three kilos of fentanyl and 75-thousand bags containing the drug, along with cash.

They also found over $175,000 cash at Fisher's Waterbury residence.

During the investigation, Collins was found to have also defrauded the paycheck protection program (“PPP”), a Covid-19 pandemic relief program.

Fisher was sentenced earlier this year to 18 years in prison.
