Berlin, Conn./WTIC Radio - A man is dead after he was struck while walking along train tracks Tuesday evening in Berlin.
It was around 5:30 when they received the call to Kensington Road near the Surrey Lane intersection that a CT Rail train struck 23-year-old Amani Ashley, whose last known address was in Bristol.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say witnesses told them they heard the train's emergency horn sound continuously prior to the collision.
Amtrak police are investigating why Ashley was on the tracks.
