MANCHESTER, CONN (WTIC Radio)- Police have two early morning armed robberies to investigate.
The first happened at the Center Street Food Bank just after 3:30.
The suspect implied he had a gun, but none was displayed.
He fled when the clerk called police.
About twenty minutes later a suspect entered Exxon Gas on Adams Street and demanded money.
The clerk believes she saw a black handgun in the suspect's waistband.
He grabbed$ 100 from the register and fled in a dark-colored vehicle.
No one was inured and police said the robberies are connected.
The suspect is described as a white male, late 30's early 40s.
