MANCHESTER, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Organizers for the Manchester Road Race are sharing the number of registrants for this year's running, now that registration has closed.
The exact number of registered runners is 12,116. That's the largest number of runners since the pre-COVID era, when 12,425 registrants signed up for the race in 2018 - the largest in the history of the Manchester Road Race.
It's quite a big jump from the 11,060 runners who registered in 2023.
The race begins at 10 a.m. Thursday, with coverage on WTIC News/Talk 1080.
