EAST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - East Hartford Police arrest a woman who's accused of stealing money from her employer to pay her personal bills.
Police say Brandy Kaiser, 40, of Manchester, allegedly stole an estimated $142,000 from her former employer, Kia of East Hartford.
Investigators say Kaiser had been writing out company checks to herself while using the company's bank account to pay her rent, electric bill, auto loan, and other personal debts.
Kaiser is being charged with first-degree larceny, first-degree identity theft, and two counts of illegal use of a payment card.
