Hartford, Conn./ (WTIC Radio) - Governor Lamont says 95-percent of state workers in the executive branch have complied with mandatates to either receive a Covid shot or agree to be tested weekly.
Figures show the Department of Correction has the highest total of those not in compliance--about 480.
Sixty-two-percent of the DOC is fully vaccinated.
All told, the vaccination rate stands at just shy of 81-percent for executive branch departments.
Of those who haven't complied one way or another, 22 have been terminated.
Twenty-nine are on unpaid leave, and 70 are in the process of being terminated or suspended, but are working to come into compliance.
