Meriden, Conn./WTIC Radio - Meriden police are charging a father and son with sexual assault.
Detectives say they began investigating a sexual assault complaint against 39-year-old Kristopher Upton and his 22-year-old son Shamalle Upton last November.
They say the two men allegedly assaulted a female victim in the basement of their home.
Both men are now charged with sexual assault and unlawful restraint.
Their bonds were set at $500,000.
The Uptons are both behind bars on other charges, police say, and the warrants were issued Monday.
The investigation is ongoing and Meriden police ask anyone with any information to give them a call.
