MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Middletown Police say a city man died after a Wednesday morning crash that went off road.
Investigators say James Henderson, 60, of Middletown, was driving a 1988 Ford Bronco on South Main Street when it veer onto the right shoulder in the area of Randolph and Coleman Roads. The Bronco then struck a Frontier utility pole, snapping it in half, before stopping away from the pole in the woods.
Henderson was transported to Middlesex Hospital, where he died a short time later.
The Middletown Police Departments Traffic Unit is investigating the accident.
