On the higher side are Connecticut sales of legal recreational marijuana. They've been rising by the month since
the start, which was January, and topped $14 million in August. For medical marijuana sales, a much
different set of figures form the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection. Those numbers have been dragging for six months,
and fell below$11 million last month. One possible reason: The department also finds that the average price for
recreational marijuana products has dropped seven of the past eight months -- to the point that medical marijuana good are no longer less expensive.
