PLAINFIELD, CONN.(WTIC RADIO)-A Moosup man faces various charges including sexual assault for an incident in September of last year.
A person complained they had been physically and sexually assaulted at their residence in Moosup.
An investigation resulted in an arrest warrant being issued for Mark Canales, 42. Plainfield police seized multiple pieces of evidence regarding their investigation. Canales was taken into custody Tuesday morning.
Canales faces assault, disorderly conduct, unlawful restraint and sexual assault charges.
