The lives of more and more Connecticut seniors are being upended by a senior homeless crisis says Senator Richard Blumenthal.
The Connecticut Democrat says this is the result of a "perfect storm" of factors, including a shortage of affordable housing and already high and still rising rents.
Blumenthal met over the weekend in Norwalk with seniors facing eviction. That included 65-year-old Melissa Siebert, who told Blumenthal she's been ordered to get out in less than a month but has no place to go.
