Torrington, Conn./WTIC Radio - A man is dead after police in Torrington say the motorcycle he was riding Saturday night collided with another vehicle in the area of Winsted and South Roads.
Torrington resident Jesse Christiano, 27, was flown to Hartford Hospital where he died.
According to police, Christiano was headed south on Winsted Road a little after 10:00 p.m. when he pulled off the west shoulder and either attempted to turn on to South Road or head back north on Winsted Road.
That's when he collided with a Toyota Corolla head-on, police said.
The driver, Samuel Melanson, 22, of Torrington was not injured and is cooperating with the investigation.
