EAST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Could it be a sign of potential progress in the ongoing machinist strike at Pratt & Whitney?
The IAM Union, representing over 3,000 workers, says the Union and the Company will sit down for a meeting at 10 a.m. Thursday.
The workers have been on strike for three weeks.
The core issue for the workers is better job security, in addition to concerns about wages, healthcare, and retirement.
Pratt & Whitney had previously said it made its final offer, insisting it was fair.
