NEW CANAAN, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - New Canaan Police arrest a man who allegedly told police he killed his mother.
Police responded to the area of South Avenue and Gerdes Road around 10:36 p.m. Friday night on the report of a man yelling in the woods.
While responding, dispatchers received a call from a man who reported killing his mother at a home on Gerdes Road.
Probable cause was established, and police arrested Sebastian Van Stockum, 20, on a murder charge.
Van Stockum is held on a $2,000,000 bond.
