Hamden, Conn. (WTIC Radio)-A New Haven man faces charges for a January Homicide in Hamden, police said.
Police responded January 15 to Fairview Avenue. The victim, Herman Bellamy, died as the result of the shooting.
According to police, suspect Charles Hill, 19, was a passenger inside Bellamy's vehicle.
Police said Hill exchanged gunfire with another vehicle, striking Bellamy.
Hill is charged with first degree manslaughter. Hamden police said Hill is currently in custody at the Connecticut Department of Correction.
Previously, Hill was charged with firearms offenses related to the shooting.
