NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Connecticut State Police are investigating a deadly crash on Route 9 in New Britain.
Troopers say Anthony Montminy, 21, of New Haven, was driving an Infiniti Q50 Luxe in the center lane of three on Route 9 Northbound near Exit 27 around 3:12 p.m. Monday.
Suddenly, the Infiniti drove into the left-hand side of the highway before going into the grassy median.
Investigators say the Infiniti slammed into the concrete sign support in the median.
Montminy was pronounced dead at the scene.
